Flamengo returns to Raulino de Oliveira and faces Resende

Teams duel for the Campeonato Carioca; Mais Querido comes from victory

Flamengo will be looking for its second victory in the Campeonato Carioca on Wednesday night (23), in Volta Redonda. The duel, scheduled for 19:30 pm, will be against Resende, at the Raulino de Oliveira stadium.

In their State Championship debut, the Mais Querido defeated Bangu 2-1 at Maracanã. In front of 46 people, the largest crowd for a Carioca debut since 2009, the Rubro-Negro scored through Diego and Rhodolfo to get off to a flying start in the State Championship. In addition to these two teams, Group C of the Guanabara Cup features Boavista, Botafogo, Cabofriense and Resende.

Flamengo x Resende

The history of the match between Flamengo and Resende is favorable to the Red-Blacks. In eleven duels, all in the Campeonato Carioca, Flamengo won nine and their opponents won two. In terms of goals, the team from Gávea averages 3,6 goals per game, scoring 40 in total.
