A Brazilian football tradition forgotten in recent years will be revived this Saturday (29), before the match between Flamengo and Internacional, in the first round of the Brazilian Championship.

Before the ball rolls, the Mais Querido players will receive the two-time Rio de Janeiro champions' banners from the hands of the Rio Grande do Sul club's athletes, a title won against Fluminense.

The Colorados, in turn, will also receive banners from the hands of the red-black athletes for the undefeated conquest of this year's Campeonato Gaúcho, won by Clube do Povo over Grêmio.

The ceremony will take place after the teams enter the field, during the official match protocol. Kick-off will begin at 21 p.m. for both teams' Brasileirão debut.
