Focused on Carioca, players don't forget Libertadores
The squad believes that the fans will do their part and fill the Maracanã stadium for home games.

Flamengo's players will be away for two weeks from the Copa Santander Libertadores. Even so, the South American competition is on everyone's mind at Flamengo, who are hoping to win their long-awaited second title. However, beyond the players, the fans also need to play along. At least that's what the players hope.
After losing their first match in the competition, against Universidad de Chile, on March 17.03, the players hope to have the support of the fans to make the most of the home advantage in the two remaining games at Maracanã, in the first phase of the competition.
"The fans help a lot, even more so in the Copa Libertadores. It's clear that they have a huge influence on our performance. With them in the stadium, supporting us, we have more strength to emerge victorious," said Emperor Adriano, who has scored once in the competition this year.
On April 7th, Flamengo will face, at 21:50 pm, at Maracanã, the executioner Universidad de Chile, who lead group 8, with seven points, and fans can do their part in the journey towards qualification for the next phase.
"Flamengo's fans are special. I don't even need to say that, do I?! They really support the team, they give me a lot of affection, and I hope they'll always be by our side on this journey. And the fans can be sure that, on the field, we'll do everything we can to repay that affection with goals, victories, and the title," said Vagner Love.
One of Flamengo's key players in winning their sixth Brazilian championship in 2009, Petkovic would like to see the Maracanã packed like last year.
"The fans are our twelfth player. Their support certainly improves the team's performance. Last year, they were crucial in winning the sixth title, motivating us even more, and we're counting on them to win the Copa Libertadores this year," said the Serbian.
And in a South American competition, the presence of experienced players is crucial. Concerned with maintaining a strong squad to achieve their second title, Flamengo relies on the strength of Chilean Maldonado, who knows how much the presence of the fans can change a game.
"In difficult times like the Libertadores, the fans are crucial. We have to make the most of our home advantage. These are tough matches, and the support from the stands makes a huge difference. Even in away games, seeing the fans back home is even more motivating," Maldonado concluded.
In addition to Universidad de Chile, Flamengo also faces Caracas at the Maracanã. The match will conclude the Flamengo's participation in the first stage of the Copa Libertadores. The game is scheduled for April 21.04st at 21:50 pm at the Maracanã.

Ticket sales have continued as usual since they were launched, and the club hopes the fans will once again demonstrate their strength against the Chileans and Venezuelans.
