During training this Friday (03), the athletes gathered in the afternoon at CT George Helal to begin preparations for the next round of the Brazilian Championship, against Palmeiras. Those who started the match against Vitória, played last Thursday (02), only did regenerative work at Flamengo's Performance Excellence Center (CEP FLA). The others went to the lawn of field 2 for ball activity.

After warm-ups, held both at CEP FLA and on the field, the training session began. On a reduced field, the activity consisted of attack-versus-defense plays with two teams of six players. The next focus was on the defensive numerical disadvantage. In pairs, the attackers sought to score, with only one defensive player, besides the goalkeeper, trying to stop them.

This Saturday (04), the training will be closed to the press. The group will head to Brasília after the activity. On Sunday (05), Mais Querido will face Palmeiras, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium, at 16 pm.
