On Wednesday night (6), Flamengo drew with RB Bragantino 1-1, at the Nabi Abi Chedid-SP stadium, in the 24th round of the Brasileirão. Pedro scored the red-black goal in the match. With the result, Mais Querido added another point and reached 39 in the championship standings.

The game
The match started evenly, with Flamengo pushing up their defense and pressuring Bragantino's attacking play. Pedro's first shot came in the tenth minute. The forward received the ball from Bruno Henrique, turned at the edge of the box, and struck hard. Cleiton made the save.

Struggling to make penetrating plays, Flamengo moved the ball around in attack, looking for space. In the 35th minute, Flamengo created their first big opportunity. Vitinho delivered a great pass to Matheuzinho on the right, who sent a low cross into the box. Pedro missed his shot, and the ball went out of bounds.

Three minutes later, Mengão opened the scoring! Vitinho stole the ball from Bragantino's breakaway and passed it to Pedro in the box. This time, the striker made no mistake and fired a cross-shot to put the Mais Querido (Most Beloved) ahead: 1-0.

In the second half, Flamengo came back with a strategy of waiting for Bragantino to counterattack. In the 13th minute, the home side tied the match with a stunning goal from Artur, who hit a beautiful shot from outside the box: 1-1.

After the equalizer, Flamengo had to go on the attack. In the 28th minute, Michael was released on the right and crossed into the box. Bruno Henrique headed the ball, Pedro controlled it and turned. The ball went over the goal. In the final minutes, Flamengo pressed their opponents in search of the winning goal, but the game ended in a draw.

Next appointment
The Most Beloved returns to the field next Saturday (9) to face Fortaleza, at 19 pm, at Arena Castelão, for the 25th round of the Brazilian Championship.
