Today at 21:45 PM, broadcast on TV Globo and Sportv, the "Mais Querido" faces Emelec (EQU) in Guayaquil, aiming for its first win after drawing its opening match against River Plate at Nilton Santos Stadium.

Since Monday night in Ecuador, the Rubro-Negro have been preparing for the match with training at Barcelona's stadium. The session that determined the starting eleven was closed to the press, but coach Paulo Cesar Carpegani gave clues about the team he will field.
"I already have the team defined, I'm convinced, we've been playing like this for some time. I wouldn't make any changes, because I've been talking to the players and there's no need. So it's practically the same team as we've been playing," he said.
The "practically" used by the red-and-black captain refers to Réver. The red-and-black captain stayed in Rio de Janeiro to treat bone edema caused by a blow to his shin in the match against Botafogo.
Réver's likely replacement, defender Rhodolfo, spoke at a press conference on Monday, before boarding.
