2008 will be a glorious year for Flamengo futsal. With six new signings in total, Flamengo aims to win as many titles as possible and become the champion.

With the 2007 base maintained by coach Cid Escarlate, the red-black board sought new alternatives to defeat the opponents that the team will face.

Pivot Jesus and wings Marcelino and Douglas (ex-Vasco) were the three main reinforcements, who also count on the determination of Betão (ex-Macaé) and Filé (ex-Canto do Rio).

Flamengo's new futsal squad officially presented itself last Monday (21/1), at the Hélio Maurício gymnasium, and has already started training, aiming for the first Metropolitano matches.
