Formula Superleague Announces Calendar: Formula Superleague, a category that combines motorsports and soccer, has announced its calendar for its inaugural season. There will be six races on European circuits, all in the second half of 2008. The first will be at the traditional Donington Park track in England on August 31.

In addition to the English circuit, Zolder (Belgium), Estoril (Portugal), and Jerez (Spain) are confirmed. The Italian race is also confirmed, but the circuit where it will be held needs confirmation from the International Automobile Federation (FIA).

The calendar will be approved at the FIA ​​World Motorsport Council meeting on December 6th. The Spanish Automobile Federation has already given its approval for the start of the new category. Nine of the 20 clubs have already confirmed their participation: Flamengo (Brazil), Milan (Italy), PSV Eindhoven (Netherlands), Porto (Portugal), Olympiacos (Greece), Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Anderlecht (Belgium), Basel (Switzerland) and Galatasaray (Turkey).
