Game: CR Flamengo x Botafogo FR

Date: 27/07/2008 (Sunday)

Time: 18:10am

Location: Mario Filho Stadium – Maracanã

According to the decision of Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas to hold the second leg game of the 2008 Brazilian Championship against Clube de Regatas do Flamengo at the João Havelange Stadium (Engenhão) scheduled for 09/11/2008 and the confirmation that it will assert its home team rights as determined by the competition regulations, allocating to Flamengo fans only 20% (twenty percent) of the stadium's capacity, Clube de Regatas do Flamengo had no alternative but to adopt the same measure for the first leg game with its home field at the Maracanã Stadium, which will be held next Sunday, 27/07/2008, at 18:10 p.m.

Therefore, we have allocated the green stands “B” to Botafogo FR fans, which are located on the right side of the Maracanã stands, with exclusive access via the UERJ ramp.

With capacity to receive up to 9.833 fans, representing 20% (twenty percent) of the capacity of the Maracanã stands, tickets for this sector will have specific coding and will only be accepted through the turnstiles on the UERJ ramp, thus complying with the CBF's determination through the regulations of the 2008 Brazilian Championship.

The remaining sections of the Maracanã stands will be for the exclusive use of Flamengo fans and will also have specific coding for access only through the turnstiles on the Belline ramp.

The common chairs in the lower ring, as well as the special chairs, will have mixed use and can be used by both sets of fans.

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, according to the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro, informs that all internal and external separations of the Stadium will be carried out by the Military Police, and that ticket offices no. 8 and 9 will be used to serve Botafogo fans, with ticket offices no. 5 and 7 being used to serve Flamengo fans on game day.

Clube de Regatas do Flamengo would like the performance of these two classics to be the same as the matches previously played by the two teams, but given the decision taken by Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, it had no alternative but to play its first leg game in the same format that Botafogo announced it would play its second leg game.
