Flamengo's children's team (under-15) won its first match in the quarter-finals of the Carioca Futsal, against the Portuguesa team, by 4 to 1, and plays the second game in Gávea, next Saturday.

The under-17 team also faced Portuguesa in a quarterfinal match at Gávea, and also emerged victorious. The red-and-black team was trailing 3-1 and managed to turn the score around, winning the match 4-3. The second match will be next weekend, but the location and time have not yet been determined.

The youth team (pictured) won again and remains firmly in contention for the title. Flamengo defeated Portuguesa and qualified for the Championship semifinals, where they will face a familiar opponent from the first phase, Grajaú. The red-and-black team won 8-6 in a match where the standouts were both goalkeepers, Rosalvo (Portuguesa) and Dan Plachta (Flamengo), with excellent saves. Flamengo's top scorer in the match was André Beier, with three goals.

The Flamengo girls lost at home to Canto do Rio, 6-5, and are currently in third place in the standings. However, they still have a chance of qualifying for the second phase of the competition.

The youth teams concluded the first phase with classics against Vasco, and all qualified for the quarterfinals. The U-09 team lost 5-4, the U-11 team won 4-2, and the U-13 team drew 2-2. Each category now plays a different opponent due to the crossovers in the final phase.

The men's adult team tied with Canto do Rio 5-5, however, with the defeat of the Grajaú team, until then leader of the round, to Drogarias do Povo, Flamengo finished the round in the lead of the Championship and, now, only depends on a victory against América, at home, to become champion of the Ricardo Lucena Cup.

Along with the title comes the first-place classification for the next phase, which guarantees a theoretically weaker opponent, and where the teams that compete in the League enter the competition.
