After heavy rain in Rio de Janeiro last week, the Rio de Janeiro Futsal Championship, which had one round postponed, will resume this weekend. On Saturday (April 17.04), Flamengo's under-15 and under-17 teams will play against Pentágono Futsal, starting at 16 p.m. at Colégio Pentágono. On Sunday (April 18.04), Flamengo's under-9, under-11, and under-13 teams will face Helênico away from home, starting at 10 a.m.

Flamengo is in first place in the under-9, under-13, and under-17 categories. The club's under-11 teams are in second place in the competition, while the under-15 teams are in third.

Drama
The rain that terrorized the capital and the surrounding metropolitan area left its mark on Flamengo. Athlete Felipe Macedo, who played for Flamengo's youth team, died after his home in Morro do Castro, Niterói, was buried in a landslide.

In Humaitá, Botafogo/Casa de Espanha lost all its training and match equipment after a landslide hit the Casa de España gymnasium. The locker rooms were destroyed, as was the back of the court.
