Flamengo's senior team is back in full training and is confident of bringing another title to Gávea.

The team has the return of five players who participated in last year's triumph, plus the reinforcement of Antony, who left Gávea some time ago and now returns to help the red-and-black team. With the return of Diego Panazio, Dudu, Michel, Arthur, and goalkeeper Breno, coach Cid Escarlate's team is ready to pursue its second state championship.

After a long period out due to injury, left winger Diego Panazio says he's thrilled to be back playing for his beloved team. "This return to Flamengo is seen as a gift, as it's the club I've been a part of since I was 11 years old. My expectation for the State Championship is that the team will win its second championship and, thus, make history for the club."

The red-and-black team also welcomes the return of winger Pablo, who was out of action for nine months after undergoing ankle surgery. "My return is going well. I already know everyone in the group, and it makes me feel at home again. Now it's time to join forces to win our second championship," the athlete stated.

The group's determination and desire to win are the main ingredients in training ahead of the red-and-black team's first game, on September 13th, against Drogaria do Povo. The match will be held at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium in Gávea.
