Flamengo's adult team hosted Drogaria do Povo on the morning of last Sunday (13/9), at Ginásio Hélio Maurício, in their first match valid for the State Championship, and beat their opponents 7-0, in a game with many fouls and some cards.

With four goals from Gabriel, already the team's current top scorer in the championship, two goals from Diego Panazio and one from Michel, who opened the scoring, the red-black team managed to maintain the pace of the game without conceding a single goal.

The Gávea team continues training this week to receive the América team next Thursday (17/9).

Coach Cid Escarlate's team is very confident at the start of the championship and wants, once again, to bring the title to Gávea, which is the current champion of the competition.\ \
