Flamengo's adult futsal team hosted the Ameria team this Thursday (17/9) for the 2009 State Championship. The match, tense and very disputed, ended in a 4-4 draw. With numerous fouls and many cards, the América team played closed, making it difficult for the Gávea team to score.

Michel, number 18, opened the scoring for the opponent, but Magrão soon equalized for the home team. The final equalizer came with two goals from Silva, number 17, and a goal from Gabriel, number 9, both playing for the red-and-black team. Franklin, number 8, scored another goal, Bernardo, number 16, and the final goal from Saulo, formerly of Flamengo, for América.

With the result, the Flamengo team is more eager to improve the team, improve the marking to be able to face Vasco next Saturday (19/9), in Barra de São João, at 19 pm.
