Top scorer in the Brazilian Championship and for Flamengo this season, striker Gabigol gave a press conference this Tuesday, at Ninho do Urubu, and took the opportunity to highlight the strength and harmony of the red-black squad.

"The board did a great job bringing together players of this caliber. The squad gelled; everyone is friendly, listens to each other, and always wants to learn. The coach's work is also very important," said the player.

Gabigol also highlighted the excellent form of the Mais Querido's attacking sector.

"Our team plays very forward. Obviously, we also think about marking. Flamengo scores a lot of goals, yes, but that's part of the collective game, not just because I score," he concluded.

Gabriel has 30 goals in 40 games this season. In the Brazilian Championship alone, he scored 16 in 15 games.
