Top scorer praises the strength of the red-black fans
By Communication - Flamengo - inFlamengo's top scorer and idol, Gabigol, gave a press conference on Wednesday morning (December 04th) at Ninho do Urubu. The striker spoke about the team's last game at Maracanã this year and highlighted the strength of the fans inside the stadium this season.
"I have several special memories of Maracanã. I remember several games, starting from the Carioca. We lost only a few at home. They felt the strength of our fans. It was a special year for all Flamengo fans. Anyone who plays against us at Maracanã suffers," he says.
The player spoke about the Flamengo's attacking trio, which consists of himself, Bruno Henrique, and Arrascaeta. The striker says he's counting on them to continue helping Flamengo break records this year.
"I'm very happy for them too. I didn't play with Bruno much at Santos, but we spent a lot of time together. In the beginning, I practically lived with Arrascaeta. I hope they continue to help me break records. If it weren't for them, it wouldn't have happened," he emphasizes.
The red-black squad faces Avaí this Thursday (05), at 20 pm, at Maracanã.
