The red-black squad is already preparing for the next match of the Campeonato Carioca. Next Sunday (24), Mais Querido will face Americano, at 17 pm, at Maracanã. Before training this Tuesday (19), Gabriel Barbosa projected the confrontation against the Campos team.

"We have to take it one game at a time. This week will be very productive. We have a big game on Sunday, and we're looking forward to returning to Maracanã, winning, and playing well. We'll focus on Sunday's game, and whoever the coach chooses will be ready to wear the Flamengo jersey. The important thing is for Flamengo to win."

The number 9 has yet to score with the Manto Sagrado, but he assured that he is improving and that the goals will come naturally.

"The goal will naturally come. Everyone is excited, and of course, when the goal comes, everything flows better. I have a lot of confidence, I've been doing well, and I'm very happy here at Flamengo. I see myself improving with each game, and I hope it continues like this. The goals will come."

Gabriel made a point of remembering the boys who ended up losing their lives in the Ninho do Urubu tragedy.

"We lived with these boys. I even took a picture with one of them. Of course, it was very sad for us. We try not to think about it too much. They will stay in our hearts for the rest of our lives," said the number 9.
