Flamengo's youth team is out of the Taça BH. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time against Inter in the semifinals, the Flamengo youth team lost on penalties to the Colorado team. Vinícius Paquetá and Diego Maurício missed the decisive penalties. Dieguinho scored the goal for the team from Gávea in regulation time.

Coach Armênio Moura's team dominated the match but failed to convert their superiority into goals. And, as those who don't score, they were surprised 15 minutes into the first half, when a defensive blunder by Internacional gave them the lead. The goal fueled Diego Maurício and company's renewed motivation and they set out in search of an equalizer. It worked. In the 43rd minute, midfielder Dieguinho received a beautiful cross from João Vitor, turned around the defender, and slotted the ball into the corner: 1-1.

The second half was rather lackluster, with both teams wasting good chances and ultimately saving their efforts for the penalty shootout. As in the quarterfinals, Colorado goalkeeper Rafael, a penalty-killing specialist, stepped onto the field and did his part. He saved the penalties from Vinícius Paquetá and Diego Maurício. Flamengo's Marcelo Carné wasn't as fortunate, and Inter won the shootout 4-2.
