Flamengo's youth team will play its first match in the Eurofarma Under-20 Football Super Cup this Monday (July 26.07), at Arena Barueri, in the interior of São Paulo. Coach Paulo Henrique's team faces Peñarol, from Uruguay, at 12 pm, with live broadcast on the cable TV channel SporTV.

Flamengo is in Group A of the competition, along with Porto, Palmeiras, and Peñarol. Group B features Sevilla, Santos, Corinthians, and Boca Juniors. The winner of Group A will face the runner-up in Group B, and the winner of Group B will face the runner-up in Group A. The two finalists will be determined based on the results. The grand final will be played on August 1st.

The red-and-black team is expected to field Cesar, Galhardo, China, Marlon, and Jorbison; Maycon, João Vitor, Guilherme, and Eliabe; Carlyle and Dudu. Christianno and Luiz Antônio, called up to the Brazilian national team, will be absent from the Gávea team.

After facing Peñarol this Monday, on Tuesday (27.07), Flamengo faces Porto, and completes its campaign in the first phase on Thursday (29.07) against Palmeiras.
