Juniors are defeated 3-0 by Madureira, and see Botafogo take the lead in Carioca

In a match where nothing went right, the Flamengo youth team ended up defeated 3-0 by Madureira, at home, and lost the first place in the Campeonato Carioca de Juniores. Botafogo, which was tied on points with the team from Gávea, beat Duque de Caxias, 2-0, and took the lead in the table.
\The Rubro-Negro took the field knowing the responsibility of the match against the Tricolor Suburbano. The players knew they had to impose themselves, especially playing at home, if they wanted to maintain their top spot in the state championship. And they did their part. They played with determination, with greater possession, but were ultimately caught out by the opposing team's counterattacks. The result: Madureira 3-0.
\"It was a game where nothing went right. We played well, we had control of the ball, but unfortunately, we ended up suffering three counterattacks and lost the game and the lead. Now it's time to work during the week for the game against Resende, next Saturday, away from home," said coach Armênio Moura.
\This was Flamengo's youth team's first loss in the competition. The team remains on 20 points (six wins, two draws, and one loss). Botafogo, with the victory over Caxias, reached 23.
