The month of July marks two special moments for athletes trained at Ninho do Urubu. On the 18th, Wallace Yan completes four years since signing his first professional contract with Flamengo. Then, on July 20th, it's Dyogo Alves' turn to celebrate six years since that milestone in his career at the club.

Wallace Yan began his journey in Flamengo's youth ranks in 2022 and, since then, has become one of the standout players of the generation that won the CONMEBOL Libertadores U-20 and the U-20 Intercontinental Cup, both in 2024. The top scorer in the Libertadores for his age group, the striker earned a place in the first team squad and made his debut in January 2024, during the Campeonato Carioca (Rio de Janeiro State Championship).

Today, at 21 years old, the striker has 52 appearances, nine goals and six assists for the professional team. In 2026, he has already participated in 17 games, scored two goals, against Lausanne and Benfica, and provided two assists.

Dyogo Alves' history with Flamengo began even earlier. At the club since 2015, the goalkeeper has built a career marked by achievements in the youth categories, including titles in the Brazilian Under-17 Championship, the Brazilian Under-17 Cup, the Brazilian Under-20 Championship, and the Under-20 Intercontinental Cup.

One of the most memorable moments occurred in the 2023 Brazilian Under-20 Championship final, when he saved a penalty in the shootout against Palmeiras and was decisive in Flamengo's title win. Frequently called up to the Brazilian youth national teams, Dyogo debuted for the senior team in 2025 and, to date, has accumulated six appearances, with two clean sheets.

The 22-year-old goalkeeper celebrated the milestone:
