Only at the beginning of his journey with Mais Querido, important facts happened for the attacking midfielder, both on and off the pitch.

The joy on his face as he spoke about his first goal in the Sacred Mantle. In front of the home crowd at Ilha do Urubu, his header bulged the net, marking the second goal in a 5-0 rout of Chile's Palestino. Looking for his best form, Geuvânio shows that even better performances are yet to come.

"The goal was very important to give me peace of mind. I worked hard to get it. I haven't reached my peak yet, but with the games I'll reach my ideal physical form. I'm improving. In this game against Palestino, I felt better able to do what I used to do, which was attack and score," he said.

However, a month ago, an even more important event would happen in the star's life. Upon his return to Brazilian football, Geuvânio was able to witness the birth of his first child, little Bernardo.

"Personally, I'm very happy to be back in Brazil and close to my family. Even more so now with the arrival of my son, who has brought immense joy to my heart," he commented, expressing his even greater enthusiasm to give his best on the field and in training. "I'm very motivated. I've dedicated myself to always doing my best. I was exhausted against Palestino, but very satisfied with my performance. I hope to be able to do this in every game," he projected.

The next challenge for the team led by interim coach Jayme de Almeida was also a topic discussed by the journalists in attendance. Geuvânio analyzed Atlético-MG, urging maximum attention to this important Brazilian Championship matchup, which kicks off the second round of the national competition.

"It will be a very difficult game. We know that even with Atlético-MG going through this situation, they will be playing at home, a factor that weighs heavily. They are a very fast team, with quality players up front. We have to be careful not to be surprised. In the game against Palestino, the team gave a lot of effort, and against Atlético it can't be any different so we can play a great game and come away with the victory," he commented.
