Top scorer of the match, Uribe thanks Dorival for his confidence in recent games
Striker talks about the spirit of the team that won the last matches and got going in the championship

In his first game, he moved around, had opportunities, but the ball didn't go in and the team ended up suffering a home defeat. His first goal came ten days later, against Sport, in a 4-1 victory, also at the Maracanã. Since then, the player had been going through an uncomfortable period without scoring for the team. Against Fluminense, the Colombian ended his goal drought in style. Two goals decided the derby. Just 10 minutes in, Vitinho crossed and the striker finished, opening the scoring. At the start of the second half, he opportunistically took advantage of a shot from Lucas Paquetá and scored his second goal, Flamengo's third in the derby. He was substituted by Rômulo, more to receive applause from the stands than anything else. And with renewed motivation.
"I needed a game like this to gain confidence. Here at the Maracanã, with all these fans, I'm very happy to help the team with two goals to secure the victory," said the striker after the match. Uribe also highlighted what he considered a change in the team's attitude, which has won its last two matches 3-0 and reached second place in the standings. "I believe the attitude has changed a lot. We know what it means to wear this shirt and the importance of winning games to advance in the championship," he added.
This Saturday's victory marked Dorival Júnior's third game in charge of the team. He has already achieved two wins (Corinthians and Fluminense) and one draw (Bahia). In the last two matches, Uribe started as a striker for the team. The Colombian is grateful for the confidence shown by the coach and also revealed a conversation with Dorival.
"He arrived and gave me all the confidence I needed from day one. He said he could count on me, and that gave me a lot of confidence. Things are going very well, and I hope he continues scoring to help the team," concluded the number 20.
