I can see that everyone is working hard. The training style has changed. We do strength training practically every day, which makes us better prepared for tougher matches. Everyone here works toward a common goal: winning matches and becoming champions. The entire group is aware of this.

Having a larger crowd helps a lot, but it's 11 against 11. It's difficult to play in Cuiabá because of the intense heat. Santos has a great squad, with great players. All of this is in our heads. We know it will be a tough game, but everyone here is aware that we can achieve a positive result. We have a huge desire to enter the top four.

My teammates started looking for me more. Everyone knows I'm not just focused on scoring goals. I also enjoy helping out outside the penalty area and participating in plays. We understand what it means to play a good team game.

The team has improved as a whole, and consequently, so have I. I'm participating more in the game, able to receive the balls that put me in a position to finish at will. Yesterday, I was able to receive other crosses and passes that I wasn't able to complete very well. This shows that the ball is reaching me more and that the team is more aware of my presence. The improvement is in our collective play, not just mine.

He lets us play more freely, but he only asks that we be disciplined regarding the tactical system on the field. From midfield forward, everyone has to play as they know how, each developing in their own way. He gives the attacking players a lot of freedom when creating plays, but demands tactical discipline from everyone when marking.
