Paolo Guerrero will be presented on Tuesday (07.07), but he's already making history. As a Flamengo player, the striker was the Copa América's top scorer for the second consecutive time, achieving a feat that hadn't been broken in 91 years. This feat was previously held by Uruguayan Petrone, who achieved the top scorer's tally in 1920 and 1924. He also became the second Flamengo player to score the most goals in the tournament, equaling idol Jair Rosa, who played for the World's Most Beloved Club between 1947 and 1949.

In the 2011 Copa América, the Peruvian scored five goals; in the 2015 Copa América, he scored four. In addition to the top scorer award, Guerrero also finished third in the competition with the Peruvian national team. The best striker in the last Brazilian championship, the striker was brought in with funds from Red-Black Nation Program. Click here, join and help make Flamengo stronger.
