Guerrero actively participates in the Peruvian National Team's draw
Striker doesn't score, but is praised for two assists
By Francisco Freire - inThis Wednesday (8), the Peruvian National Team took to the field for the Copa América Centenario. On the field was the greatest scorer in its history, who did not score a goal, but had a standout performance in the 2-2 draw with Ecuador. This is Paolo Guerrero.
The red-and-black striker didn't find the net again, but he was responsible for the assists for both of his team's goals. In the first, he provided a beautiful through ball to Cueva, who dribbled past the defender and slotted it into the corner. The second goal was scored by Flores, who capitalized on a header from Guerrero. The red-and-black number nine was also praised for his active movement and playmaking.
Peru is in group B of the competition and in the next round they face Brazil, on Sunday (12), at 21:30 pm
