Peruvian striker is chosen by fans to participate in the program "Bem, amigos!", on SporTV, after the game

Paolo Guerrero scored the opening goal for Flamengo in their 2-1 victory over América-MG on Monday night (25), in Cariacica, Espírito Santo. It's no surprise that he was chosen by Flamengo fans in a vote held by the SporTV channel to be the guest athlete on the program "Bem, amigos!", which began right after the match.

Flamengo's number 9 acknowledged the tough game against their opponent, who were under pressure and were bottom of the Brasileirão, but celebrated the victory, which left the team just five points behind leaders Palmeiras, with 27 points, in sixth place.
"Great victory. I'm tired, the field was heavy, it was a very difficult victory, but thank God we got the three points we needed," said Guerrero, who praised the Flamengo team's progress.
"I think we've improved a lot, we've become more united. We're getting along well. After the Campeonato Carioca, we reflected a lot, we're more united. In the locker room, in training, everyone is happy. We know what the coach asks of us, there's a lot of sacrifice in our daily work, and the training sessions are very intense. We've improved a lot in possession, we always start very strong. We'll improve even more with the arrival of reinforcements. Flamengo is on a good path, right, and our goal is to be champions. Big teams have to think like that. We're on this path and we won't slow down," he assured.
More than just scoring goals, Guerrero's style on the field emphasizes offensive volume and dedication to the team. According to the player, who has scored in the team's last two games, the goals are coming thanks to a greater connection with the other players.
"We have to play for the team. I've been receiving a lot of passes from my teammates and I'm always looking for those crosses," he concluded.
Flamengo's next match in the Brazilian Championship will be on Sunday (31), at 16 pm, against Coritiba, at the Couto Pereira stadium, in Paraná.
