The Flamengo delegation arrived in Santos last Saturday (December 04.12th) even more motivated to achieve a positive result against the home team on Sunday (December 05.12th) at 17 pm at Vila Belmiro. Accustomed to receiving affection and attention from Flamengo fans wherever they go, players and coaching staff were moved by the declaration of love from Herbert Vianna, of Paralamas do Sucesso, who was on the same flight as the team to São Paulo, made mid-flight through the plane's sound system.

From the moment they took off, Herbert and Luxemburgo, seated side-by-side at the front of the plane, talked a lot about soccer and, especially, about Flamengo. A die-hard Flamengo fan, the singer surprised everyone shortly before landing.

In an unusual move, Herbert asked the flight attendant to say a few brief words to the passengers. When she agreed, the singer said he was 'very happy to be on the same flight as Flamengo, since for him Flamengo wasn't just a team. It was much more than that.' The speech continued, and by the end, all the Flamengo-supporting passengers, and especially the players, were touched.

But the tributes didn't stop there. After openly talking about his love for Flamengo, Herbert surprised everyone again. He pulled a Flamengo towel out of his bag and made sure to loudly sing the famous stadium chant "Oh, meu Mengão!".

The singer was applauded by the other passengers and, after landing, received congratulations from all members of the Flamengo delegation who will undoubtedly take this support with them to the match against the Santos team.
