Ibson is available to Joel to face São Paulo
The midfielder has been out of the team since the game against Inter, in Porto Alegre
By Flamengo Archive - inDuring the nearly three-hour training session this morning at Gávea, coach Joel Santana demanded careful finishing from the red-and-black players. The player who participated in the training session was midfielder Ibson, who has recovered from a right ankle injury. The player made himself available to the coach to face São Paulo on Thursday at Maracanã. "Physically, I'm fine and at Joel's disposal to play against São Paulo. I've been sidelined for four matches, and it's hard to be on the sidelines just cheering on my teammates. I want to get back to helping out on the field," commented Ibson. Midfielder Roger also participated in the training session as normal. Coach Joel Santana will wait to see how both players perform in tomorrow's training session to confirm his starting lineup. "I can't make a decision before the training session. I'll only know how they are after training and then I can plan the lineup for Thursday," stated the red-and-black coach.
