Smiling and in good shape, the Emperor will return to action on Sunday. Adriano worked hard throughout the week and will face Botafogo in the Taça Rio final, Sunday at 16 p.m., at Maracanã. Knowing the responsibility he carries, the Gávea's number 10 is confident he can make a difference in the match.

Adriano said he was aware that the group needed him, both on the field and off it, and assured he was calm for the final.

"It's a huge responsibility that I have, both on and off the field, I know that and I hope to help the team get a victory over Botafogo on Sunday. I'm calm, I know the team is counting on me to get it done and it's going to be a very important match for us," he said.

Visibly happy with his form and his return to the team after four games without playing, the Emperor promises to be very dedicated in the derby.

"I'm very happy to be back playing. I worked really hard this week, I'm in good condition, and I'm going to give my all to help Flamengo win this title," he said.
