Flamengo debuted in the 2010 Brasileirão with a draw at home against São Paulo. They then traveled to Bahia, where they drew with Vitória. Last Sunday (May 23.05), against Grêmio Prudente at Maracanã, they won their first match, 3-1, which gave the players a boost. This was especially true given that the team had just been eliminated from the Copa Libertadores.

And despite failing to advance to the next stage of the international competition, Flamengo played well against Universidad de Chile and won the match. This marks two consecutive victories and two consistent performances, which has the team planning for good results ahead.

"We've been on a grueling run of games. Even so, we've managed to win the last two matches and play solid football. This win against Prudente has boosted the team's morale, and I'm sure we're on the right track to improve," said left-back Juan, showing that the players' thoughts are already on their next opponent, Fluminense.

"These are two great teams facing each other. It will undoubtedly be a great game and we are already prepared and confident," he concluded.
