After tactical training this afternoon in Gávea, midfielder Jaílton stated that he hopes the Flamengo fans will fill the Ipatingão Stadium for Sunday's game against the local team.

"I have no doubt that Flamengo's fans will be there. Their support will be very important. I hope they fill the Ipatingão stadium and help us get another victory in this Brazilian Championship."

Jailton, a former player for the Minas Gerais team, believes that counter-attacks could be Flamengo's greatest weapon.

"We'll try to keep possession of the ball and take advantage of the chances when they arise. We have fast players up front and we can exploit counter-attacks a lot with Marcinho, Souza, Tardelli and the two full-backs."
