A starter during Flamengo's great run in the last Brazilian Championship, midfielder Jailton could reach the 50-game mark for Flamengo this Wednesday night against Coronel Bolognesi at the Maracanã stadium. The player is thrilled with the opportunity to wear the Flamengo jersey so many times.

"I'm looking forward to it; after all, it's a very important achievement. I've been training well and I'm ready if Joel decides to play me. I'm not just thinking about these 50 games. We have to be focused on winning above all else," said Jailton, who is expected to replace Ibson, who was rested.

Even with Coronel Bolognesi in last place in Group 4 of the Libertadores, Jailton says that the red-black team will approach the match with the utmost seriousness possible.
