Flamengo's squad returned to Gávea on Friday morning for their penultimate training session before facing Palmeiras on Sunday at 17 p.m. at Maracanã. The match could put the red-and-black team back in the top four of the Brazilian Championship.

In today's tactical session, Caio Júnior maintained the foundation of recent training sessions. Jaílton, who left yesterday's training session with pain in the back of his left thigh, trained normally and secured his starting spot. Juan trained separately, undergoing physical therapy at the club's gym. Luizinho earned the left wing spot. The starting lineup trained with: Bruno; Jailton, Fábio Luciano, and Ronaldo Angelim; Léo Moura, Airton, Ibson, Kleberson, and Luizinho; Marcelinho Paraíba and Obina.

After the activity, vice president of football Kleber Leite said he had agreed with captain Fábio Luciano, the group's leader, on a bonus for the players if the red-and-black team finishes in the top four of the Brazilian Championship. Leite also stated that the salaries of the players, coaching staff, and staff will be paid between today and Monday.
