On Tuesday morning (23.06), Jorge and Jajá were officially integrated into the professional football squad. After competing in the U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, the duo arrived to be at Cristóvão Borges' disposal.

"I'm very happy with this opportunity. I've already had the chance to train and play for the professionals, but this is different. I know I need to work twice as hard, remain humble and serious to achieve other goals at the club. We dream of this day, so we can't waste it," said Jorge.

Like the left-back, midfielder Jajá keeps his feet on the ground. He understands that this is a special moment, but that at Flamengo, he can't lose focus for even a minute.

"We were raised in the club's youth divisions, and we've known from an early age the pressure of wearing this jersey. Of course, it's different from the professional level, the visibility, but the jersey is the same. Flamengo is very big, and we've learned to be competitive in all categories. I will strive every day to continue growing as an athlete. I'm very happy," he said.
