Defender says teams have similar situations in the Brasileirão and believes the duel will be very similar at Engenhão

Both Flamengo and Palmeiras are teams that began to gain more momentum in the Brasileirão in the final stretch of the first half of the season and hope to continue improving in the second half of the season. This Saturday (September 24.09), the teams face off at the Engenhão stadium, needing another victory to try and get a foothold in the competition.

"It's a tough game, a classic, with both teams needing a win, and we'll definitely have to work hard to get the result. Palmeiras is in a similar situation to us; they also signed reinforcements in the second half of the year. The team took a while to gel, but they have a great coach, they're improving, just like our team, and I'm sure it's going to be a great game," he noted.
Despite believing in a close match, Jean believes that Flamengo must make the most of its home advantage and secure victory in Rio de Janeiro.
"Playing at Engenhão, we have to get the points. It doesn't matter. Hopefully now we can not only maintain our unbeaten run but also come away with the win. A draw at home can't be considered a good result, and we're going after the three points," he concluded.
