After working extensively on finishing, coach Rogério Lourenço held a tactical training session late Wednesday afternoon (August 19.08) at Ninho do Urubu. As previously announced, he made no changes to the team's tactical formation. The uncertainty surrounding the defensive lineup has also apparently been resolved. Jean trained as a starter, and therefore, the lineup was the same as in recent matches when the coach had a full squad available.

Marcelo Lomba, Leonardo Moura, Jean, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Correa, Willians, Renato, and Petkovic; Val Baiano and Leandro Amaral formed the starting lineup. The reserves included Paulo Victor, Everton Silva, David, Welinton, and Rodrigo Alvim; Maldonado, Toró, Kleberson, and Michael; Vinícius Pacheco and Cristian Borja. The remaining members of the squad performed a rotation on field 2 of the training center.

"I think the team is well-coordinated, evolving little by little, and I'm not a coach who tends to change the team's tactical formation a lot," explained Rogério.

This Friday (20.08), the squad returns to training at Ninho. The activity will be the Rubro-Negro's last before traveling to the south of the country. On Saturday (21.08), the team will train at CT Coritiba.
