Happy with the opportunity, Jean says he's motivated for his first Clássico dos Milhões. The defender believes Flamengo has an obligation to put on a strong performance on Sunday.

"The hype is there off the field. Just because it's Fla vs. Vasco requires more preparation. We lost the last match and we have an obligation to play well and fight for the three points. The motivation here is as great as theirs," he said.

The player doesn't believe Vasco or Flamengo are favorites, but emphasizes that the Red-Blacks are in a better position in the standings. Furthermore, he believes a positive result against the São Januário team could give the Red-Blacks an extra boost.

"I'm basing my decision on the league table. It makes it clear who's doing better so far. Of course, losing the last match is a bit of a letdown. But it's over now. It's time to focus on Vasco, and there's nothing better than a win in the derby to boost our morale," said the player, who called for attention to Vasco's attacking reinforcements, such as Felipe, Eder Luis, and Zé Roberto.

"It's always good to know who's going to play. They have different characteristics, so we have to be more careful. There are players with speed, technique, and who are better at boxing. But they're all good players. They're players who can decide a game at any moment, and we have to be focused," he concluded.
