This Tuesday (February 4th), the CBF held a press conference to discuss more details about the competition, which, starting this year, will be part of the Brazilian football calendar. Coach Jorge Jesus and midfielder Diego Ribas participated in the event alongside coach Dorival Jr. and midfielder Wellington, from Athletico-PR.
"This is the first time this Super Cup will be organized in Brazil. In Europe, we highly value this competition. It's always the first trophy that teams compete for. It's a very beautiful competition between champions," says the coach.
"My request (to the Nation) is exactly this: that they continue to provide us with unforgettable moments. It will be another final, and in a final, a special atmosphere is fundamental, which they know how to provide very well. I'm sure they will be there," emphasizes Diego.
More than twenty thousand tickets have already been sold for the Brazilian Super Cup final, on February 16th at 11 am, at the Mané Garrincha stadium.
