The coach started his other spells at the club well

Coach Joel Santana expressed optimism about what he expects from the Flamengo team in this Sunday's match, at 16 pm, against Santos, at Vila Belmiro, in the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship.

"I know the difficulties any club faces when playing at Vila, but I see Flamengo ready to play a great match and begin their recovery in the competition," said the coach after training held on Monday morning in Gávea.

In his other three spells at Flamengo, Joel didn't lose in his first game: in 1996 a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund, in 1998 a 3-0 win over Botafogo and in 2005 a 2-2 draw away to Juventude. Against Peixe, the coach's hope is to maintain his good record.

"It's always a special joy to make my debut for this club. I hope that good results come again and that I continue to be lucky in my debuts."
