Flamengo held another training session this Tuesday afternoon ahead of the match against São Paulo at Maracanã Stadium. During the training session, led by Joel Santana, the 0-0 draw pleased the coach.

- "The collective effort was productive despite the 0-0 draw. I really liked the team's performance and I'm very satisfied with our preparation for the next game," said Joel.

The red-black coach repeated the lineup from the last training sessions: Bruno; Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Rômulo, Jaílton, Cristian and Ibson; Maxi and Souza.

One of the changes Joel made was bringing Roger into the starting lineup. The midfielder was one of the standouts of the session with beautiful passes and great plays, but the coach is expected to start the match with Ibson.

"I'll probably start with Ibson in the starting lineup. He's a very good player and moves well. He'll be important for our team."

When asked about Thursday's opponent, Joel praised his opponent. "São Paulo has a lot of quality and organization. Muricy knows what he's doing, and that's why they're in this position."
