Despite a 100% record and leading Group A of the Rio Cup, Flamengo will be very attacking for Wednesday's match against Mesquita at Maracanã. After training this afternoon, coach Joel Santana confirmed his starting lineup with three forwards.

"We're trying to find balance within the team, using the best we have in the squad. We're not afraid to make mistakes, and we'll see how this formation performs in the game. If it lives up to expectations, we can keep it for the games against Botafogo and Nacional."

Joel reiterated that he will use the Rio Cup to give some players game time.

- "For this match, we continued working to get some players back into game form. Other players earned a chance in the starting lineup because of their good performance against Resende," explained Joel, who praised the participation of Argentine Maxi.

Flamengo should enter the field with: Bruno, Léo Moura (Luizinho), Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim and Juan; Cristian, Kleberson and Ibson; Maxi, Diego Tardelli and Souza.
