Flamengo's board of directors, along with fitness coach Ronaldo Torres and coach Joel Santana, held a meeting this Tuesday afternoon (December 04th) in Gávea. The topic was planning for the 12 season, in which the Club will compete in the Campeonato Carioca, the Copa Libertadores and the Campeonato Brasileiro.

After the meeting, coach Joel Santana gave some tips on what fans can expect for next year.

- "We are in talks to decide our plan. What is certain is that more than 80% of the players in the current squad will remain at the Club."

When asked about signings, the coach made a point of emphasizing that they will only be impactful, as he intends to use the youngsters from the youth team.

- "To play for Flamengo, you need a good track record. It's difficult to play here. We'll make the right signings, and we'll also use the youth players, who are three-time Carioca champions and OPG champions. They're players who were trained at the Club and know what it's like to wear this jersey."
