After Flamengo's great 3-0 victory last night in Cuzco, coach Joel Santana praised the behavior of the red-black team, which had a very confident performance.

- "In a Libertadores game against Cienciano, I can say that the performance was very good. In the first half, they were a good team. In the second half, they were an excellent team. It was a beautiful match of football. Cienciano is a brilliant team and until we scored the first goal, they were playing very well."

Flamengo's manager praised the marking work of the Gávea team, which neutralized Cienciano's main plays.

- "The game was difficult in both halves. But in the second half, the team improved its marking. We managed to reduce their dangerous plays and scored an early goal. We didn't give them freedom in the play. We scored more because they needed to score and relaxed their marking," said Joel.

Even though they have qualified for the next stage with one round to spare, the coach wants another victory over Coronel Bolognesi, which would guarantee first place in Group 4.
