With an eye on Wednesday's match against Mesquita at the Maracanã Stadium, coach Joel Santana organized a tactical attack-versus-defense training session, with only nine players forming the teams. The starting lineup consisted of: Bruno, Luizinho, Fábio Luciano, Ronaldo Angelim, and Juan; Cristian, Kleberson, Ibson; Diego Tardelli, and Souza.
