Tomorrow's match against Coronel Bolognesi at the Maracanã will determine Flamengo's position in the standings, and consequently determine the team's opponent in the round of 16. If they beat Bolognesi by five goals, Flamengo will likely finish the first stage in first place, but coach Joel Santana wants to study the schedule to prevent Flamengo from wearing out long trips.

"First, we want to secure first, second, or third place overall, but of course, we have to assess the interest during the game, as we want to avoid a long and exhausting trip. If we have a choice, our preference is obviously to play here nearby, in a country as close to Brazil as possible. The coaching staff will guide us, and we will play according to our needs."

The commander praised the Peruvian team, but said that Fla will win the game.

"It's a match Flamengo will go all out for, as I've already defined some privileges for the next stages of the Libertadores. We have to play seriously and with the utmost respect. Bolognesi isn't doing well in the Libertadores, but they have defensive balance and aren't easy to beat. They're a team that hasn't scored a goal, but they've conceded a few."
