Joel surprises in collective
Coach made four changes to the starting lineup.
By Flamengo Archive - inFlamengo held another training session this Friday (09/11), in Gávea. In the activity, coach Joel Santana surprised, and selected the starting team with four changes in relation to yesterday's training.
The starting lineup that began training was: Bruno, Léo Moura, Fábio Luciano, Rodrigo Arroz, and Juan; Cristian, Ibson, Renato Augusto, and Roger; and Maxi and Souza. With this formation, the team trained well, demonstrating excellent movement. Renato Augusto, playing as a midfielder, scored two beautiful goals in the first 20 minutes of practice.
In the final part of the training session, Joel made two changes, bringing on Jaílton and Toró for Roger and Maxi. The starting lineup maintained the same rhythm and scored two more goals, again with Renato Augusto and Souza.
Coach Joel Santana hasn't confirmed the starting lineup. He believes it's a way to make the opposing coach, Vanderlei Luxemburgo,'s job more difficult.
"Yesterday I trained differently. The important thing is that we trained well with both formations. I won't reveal the team lineup. I'll only confirm it when I know how Santos will play."
