The strong crowd turnout for the match against Náutico hasn't been forgotten by the red-and-blacks. In Thursday's derby against Fluminense at Maracanã, everyone is certain the fans will once again cheer the team on. For coach Joel Santana, the support from off the field will be crucial for the team in the rest of the Brazilian Championship.

"The derby will be good, our fans will show up and will certainly cheer us on. We have to win, and I'm sure this support can help us a lot," Joel wagered. The red-and-black coach is also banking on a better performance from the team against Fluminense. During today's training session in Teresópolis, Joel again stopped training several times, asking for special attention to set pieces. "The team is starting to achieve something I like, which is absorbing important points in my opinion. The marking is improving, and we have more speed in attack. Little by little, we'll improve," the coach commented.
