There's a lot of talk about signings and dismissals, especially when the famous European transfer window arrives mid-year. And Flamengo is no exception. The current Brazilian champion, the club faces daily speculation about both player arrivals and departures. Accustomed to this hearsay, Juan is not afraid of any break-up in the red-black squad.

"If people leave or arrive, it's normal. The important thing is to maintain the strength of the squad. The Brazilian Championship is big, well-contested, and everyone here knows that. I'm sure we'll have, once again, a strong squad to fight for the title or a place in the Libertadores," said the left-back.

And one way to bolster the squad could be to utilize young talents trained at Gávea. Camacho and Diego Maurício came on in Flamengo's last Brasileirão game and performed well: helping the team emerge victorious. For this, they were praised by the team's coach, Rogério Lourenço, and their teammates.

"Every promising player who makes it to the first team has earned their place. They only make it to the senior team because they did well in the youth academy. And I think they really should get opportunities. They need to train with us and play. The boys who played yesterday showed they have what it takes to help Flamengo. They played well and received a lot of support from the more experienced players. They deserve congratulations. We just need to give them the peace of mind they need to play," Juan concluded.
