On the eve of the most important game of the year, Flamengo's fans have given further proof of their strength. In two days, nearly 50 tickets have already been sold for the match against Corinthians, on Wednesday, at Maracanã. That's why the Flamengo players are excited. Coach Rogério Lourenço's team knows it will have massive support from the stands and considers this harmony crucial in decisive matches.

One of the players most identified with the fans, Vagner Love doesn't hide his passion for Flamengo and his joy at playing in a packed Maracanã stadium.

"I'm happy to know that the fans are buying so many tickets, because their support is very important. I'd also like to take this opportunity to urge those who haven't yet secured theirs to do their part and support us in Wednesday's game, because the fans are essential to us," he said.

Young Rômulo, who has only played in two matches this season but is expected to start against Corinthians, is also counting on the fans' support to do well.

"Flamengo's fans are wonderful. It's an incredible feeling to walk into Maracanã and see the fans chanting your name and supporting you, especially for those of us who have just come up through the ranks at the club," he said.
